Who We Are

Who We Are

At Pepins, we’re reimagining the future of private investing. As a pioneer in regulated equity crowdfunding, we make it possible for everyone to invest in the fastest-growing part of the economy — exciting growth companies. Individuals can access opportunities once reserved for institutional investors and become partners in companies they believe in. Together, we help these businesses grow, create jobs, and make a meaningful impact.

Since our founding in 2015, Pepins has connected more than 18,500 shareholders with some of the most promising startups and scaleups in the Nordics — raising over 739 million SEK in funding and supporting over 20 actively traded companies.

We are more than a funding platform. We are a bridge between ambition and access, between visionary founders and everyday investors who believe in building the future — together.

A Dual-Powered Model: Pepins × Berentix

In 2025, Pepins entered a new chapter by integrating with Berentix, a results-driven sales infrastructure focused on pre-IPO project placement. While Pepins excels at activating investor communities and enabling seamless share transactions, Berentix brings global reach and high-performance sales execution — particularly for high-growth, AI-driven ventures preparing for their next funding rounds.

This synergy enables us to support companies not only in raising capital, but also in gaining real traction through qualified seller teams and investor-facing campaigns.

Built on Regulation, Driven by Trust

Pepins operates under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and complies with the European Crowdfunding Service Providers (ECSP) regulation. Our platform is built to offer secure, compliant, and transparent investment journeys for all stakeholders — from investors to companies and shareholders.

We provide:
  • Seamless share transactions
  • Automated cap table management
  • Dividend payout support
  • Real-time company updates
  • Scheduled trading via Pepins Market

These tools form a full-cycle solution for any unlisted company looking to professionalize their investor relations and prepare for a future exit — whether through secondary trading, M&A, or IPO.

Our Ecosystem: Where Investors & Innovators Converge

Pepins is powered by its community. Each funding round is more than a transaction — it’s a vote of confidence from people who believe in the company’s vision. Through investor engagement tools, discussion forums, and regular updates, we ensure that our shareholders are not just passive financiers, but active participants in shaping each company’s journey.

The addition of Berentix means that our ecosystem now spans both investor networks and sales networks, creating a robust launchpad for pre-IPO companies to grow with speed and resilience.

Risks, Withdrawal & Legal Framework

Risks

There are risks associated with investing in unlisted growth companies. Many early-stage companies may fail, resulting in the total loss of your investment. These investments are often illiquid and may take years before they can be sold or otherwise liquidated. Invest only what you can afford to lose.

Right of Withdrawal

According to Section 2, Chapter 3 of the applicable Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to investments in financial instruments. Therefore, no right of withdrawal applies to investments made through Pepins.

Law

Swedish law applies to both marketing regulations and contractual terms for all services and investments on the Pepins platform.
